In case you missed it ...
NAVIGATING HEALTH CARE: A Local Perspective

The Tri-City Herald just published an excellent Opinion Piece by Badger Club Program Committee member William Pennell. In it, he lays out some of the social and political pressures on hospital systems and what it means to patients and those who pay for healthcare.

Our Badger Forum this Thursday will explore the impact of those pressures with Reza Kaleel, CEO, Southeastern Washington region for Providence Health Systems. He is in charge of Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland and St. Mary Hospital in Walla Walla and their associated clinics.

Just as in the old ditty, "the knee bone is connected to the thigh bone," when it comes to finance in health care everything is connected to everything else. Kaleel will explain, then take audience questions submitted online.

Badger Club membership includes admission. Nonmembers pay $5.

Links will be provided after registration.

BTW: We'd love to meet you at the Senior Times Expo in Kennewick on Tuesday.
