Federal Immigration Enforcement
Sornsawan (Sonee) Kulaga Wilson
Carol Larkin

Commissioner Jerome Delvin

President Trump’s June 15, 2025, post on Truth Social continued his campaign promise to deport a record number of immigrants. He wrote, “Our Nation’s ICE Officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they facilitate a very important mission, the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History.” How should local elected officials and citizens respond?

Benton County Commissioner Jerome Delvin favors greater cooperation with Federal agents. He will discuss his experience as a police officer, state legislator and now county commissioner on immigration issues. Sonee Wilson, board president of the Tri-Cities Immigrant Coalition, will share actions the Coalition is taking to support migrants and ensue their rights are protected, and fellow Coalition member Carol Larkin will discuss the Keep Washington Working Act and the importance of migrants to our community.
