welcome to the Columbia basin badger club

FIRST HYBRID FORUM WAS "OUTSTANDING"
The Badger Club's first hybrid forum since Covid was a hit with both in person and online attendees. There are more hybrid Badger Forums to come.

A nonpartisan nonprofit organization that promotes civil discourse by providing public forums on important issues of the day.

OUR ENERGY FUTURE: Can We Meet the Demand?

Data centers, food processing, and manufacturing are all demanding more—and more reliable—electrical energy. Who will generate the power and how? Who will deliver it? What’s driving the demand?
It’s easy to complain about big load creators—until we want to ask a question of A-I or look for a job. Our panel of experts will help shed some light on the ongoing need to create jobs through economic development and the power required to keep those new workers on the job.

Our panelists will be:
•  Stephen McFadden, deputy executive director of the Port of Pasco
•  Benton PUD CEO Rick Dunn

•  Michael O’Brien, Senior Policy and Engagement Manager, Western Power Pool Western Resource Adequacy Program
